Vick may stay after all

As training camp nears, it’s getting more and more likely now that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will remain with the team.

It seemed like it was just a few weeks ago when it seemed like the axe would drop on Vick at any moment.

However, things have cooled down in the last few weeks and it seems like the shooting incident may now blow over.

The bottom line is that the Eagles need to win football games and they don’t have a viable backup for Kevin Kolb if they cut McNabb.

Things could change if Vick gets suspended, but for now it appears that attention has turned to how the team will use him in the upcoming season.
