By Bud L. Ellis
Oct. 3 at home. Nov. 15 on the road.
Those are the two dates where Philadelphia Eagles’ fans will see former Eagles’ QB Donovan McNabb try to beat his former team.
The National Football League has released game dates and times for the 2010 season. Those two dates are when Philly takes on the Washington Redskins, where McNabb was dealt this offseason.
The season begins at home game Sept. 12 vs. Green Bay. Philly then plays road games at Detroit and at Jacksonville before McNabb and the Redskins come to town Oct. 3. The Eagles then play two of the next three away from home, at San Francisco on Sunday Night Football on Oct. 10 and at Tennessee Oct. 24, with a home game on Oct. 17 against the Falcons.
After the bye week Oct. 31, Philly faces AFC champion Indianapolis Colts Nov. 7 at home. The next matchup with McNabb and Washington is a road game on Monday Night Football on Nov. 15, followed with a Sunday Night Football home game with the New York Giants on Nov. 21 and a trip to Chicago on Nov. 28.
Two prime-time games kick off December: a home game against Houston on Thursday Night Football Dec. 2, and a Sunday Night Football matchup at NFC East champion Dallas on Dec. 12. The final road game of the season is Dec. 19 at the Giants. Philly ends the regular season with a pair of home games: vs. Minnesota on Dec. 26 and against the Cowboys on Jan. 2.
